As a Senior QA Engineer, you will review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You will also create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities, and perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
You will also design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools for both backend and app, identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs, and monitor debugging process results. You will track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts, and stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Job Description :
- Design, develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for new and existing features across web and mobile platforms.
- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, exploratory and user acceptance test (UAT).
- Collaborate with developers during sprint planning to ensure testability and quality.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using frameworks Selenium, Capybara test.
- Conduct root cause analysis on defects and production issues, and recommend preventive measures.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate into effective testing strategies.
Requirements :
- Experience 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 2 years in a senior or lead QA role.
- Proven experience in E-commerce, retail or operations is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing: test case design, exploratory testing, regression testing and smoke testing.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Capybara test or Playwright.
- Familiar with version control (Git) and Scrum development.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g Github Actions)
- Experience in penetration test using Burp Suite
- Experience in testing RESTful API using tools Postman
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, XRay or similar)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to document bugs and communicate testing status.
